Sony Ericsson Intros Live With Walkman Android Smartphone

Following the W8, Sony Ericsson unveils today another Android smartphone featuring the company’s Walkman trade-name.

Called Live with Walkman, this smartphone carries Gingerbread and is claimed to deliver unique social music experience to Android users. You ask, really? Well, this phone got a dedicated Walkman hardware button allowing instant access to the music player; and with deep Facebook integration, media sharing and discovering new contents on this phone becomes easier. Live with Walkman is also beefed up with Sony’s xLOUD technology which enhances audio output of built-in speakers at high levels, and Sony allows consumers to access millions of songs through its Qriocity service.

Live with Walkman flaunts a 3.2-inch capacitive multi-touch screen and is powered by 1GHz processor. There’s a 5MP auto-focus shooter with 8x digital zooming and can capture 720p HD video recording, plus a front-facing VGA camera for video calling. Also under its hood is 320MB RAM microSD storage of up to 32GB, Wi-Fi with DLNA and hotspot, USB 2.0, 3G support, Bluetooth, GPS (aGPS), and 1200mAh battery.



Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman will be available both in Black or White in selected markets globally, including the Philippines, from Q4 2011. Price is still yet to be known. Check out more info through the official press release after the break.
