Nokia Philippines is all set to release the Nokia C2-03 here in the country come Friday, August 5.

The
Nokia C2-03, first announced back in June at the
Nokia Connections 2011 in Singapore, is a Touch and Type phone featuring Dual-SIM functionality. It’s actually the 3rd Touch and Type phone in Nokia’s line-up following
Nokia X3 and C3, and also the third Dual-SIM phone following
Nokia C2-00 and
Nokia X1-01.

Like Nokia C2-00, the Nokia C2-03 is also built with the Easy Swap feature which allows users to insert a new SIM by opening slot on the side of the phone and without having to turn off the phone or removing its battery. Nokia C2-03 carries the Series 40 platform and is pre-loaded with apps like the new Nokia Maps and Nokia Browser for Series 40. With a 1020 mAh battery under its hood, it’s promised to offer up to 5 hours talk time, up to 35 hours music playback, and up to 400 hours in standby mode. The phone also features a 2MP camera capable of taking still phones and recording videos.

Golden White (see comment below). Suggested retail price here in the Philippines is

The all new browser of the Nokia C2-03 compresses data to lower internet costs, has a localizable homescreen, and offers easy access to web applications and favorite content. Other features include a 2mp camera, 2.5” display, stereo FM radio, and media player. It supports up to a 32GB memory card for thousands of photos, videos and music files for entertainment on the move.
