Looks like PLDT is offering a new tablet variant built to its TelPad.
The first TelPad we learned last year, model AD-1000, was actually made by Andy Technology; and it was unclear what’s the model of the tablet built to it. But it does carry standard specs of an entry-level tablet like Android Froyo OS, 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 2GB storage, 4000mAh battery, and wireless connectivity support. And this time though, PLDT is offering a new variant and it’s called TelPad S7 Slim. I’m thinking S7 Slim actually refers to the 7-inch Huawei IDEOS tablet. If so, seems like PLDT TelPad S7 Slim specs sheet didn’t match that of Huawei IDEOS’.
TelPad S7 Slim Specs
Android 2.2 (Froyo)
1GHz Qualcomm QSD8X50 processor
7-inch TFT LCD, 480 x 800 pixels (WVGA)
8GB Built-in storage, 32GB Standard SD
512MB RAM
0.3MP front-facing camera, 3.2MP rear-facing camera (fixed focus)
Wi-Fi, 802.11 b/g/n
Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR
HDMI
micro-USB Port
Built-in speaker and microphone
Accelerometer
3.5mm headphones
7.87 x 4.3 x 0.49-inches
4000 mAh Li-Polymer standard battery
Huawei Ideos S7 Slim actually has support for 3G connectivity, has 2MP primary camera, and 3250 Li-ion battery.
For those who haven’t heard about Telpad just yet, it’s actually a wired landline phone and Android tablet in one. Unlike your ordinary telephone, you can do a lot more than make calls with the Telpad. Its other features allow you to browse the internet, play, multimedia and entertainment files such as videos, music, photos and games.

So, anyone here rocking the TelPad?
