Samsung announced earlier today two new smartphones of the 2-cores GALAXY lineup, this time however, with 4G LTE support.
First up is the Samsung GALAXY S II LTE we first saw at the IFA event earlier this month. This Gingerbread phone features almost similar hardware specs as its 3G counterpart like 8MP camera, 2MP front camera, 16GB internal storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and DLNA support, among others -- only that it boasts an upgraded 1.5GHz dual-core CPU, flaunts a bigger and brighter 4.5-inch WVGA Super AMOLED Plus display, and a massive 1850mAh battery.
The Samsung GALAXY S II HD LTE on the other hand is packed with the same internals as the GALAXY S II LTE, but with a bigger 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD (not Plus) screen with pixel count at 1280x720 or equivalent to 316 PPI. Though this handset is designed with support for 4G LTE, this actually will still work with HSPA+ and EVDO Rev A.
Samsung Galaxy S II HD LTE will be available on all three Korean carriers – SK Telecom, KT and LG U+; while the Galaxy S II LTE will be available only through SK Telecom.
