Samsung unveiled today another smartphone touted as the biggest and with highest quality display available in any phone to date.
Without any doubt and for the record, the new Samsung GALAXY Note, with its massive 5.3-inch display is indeed the biggest we’ve seen in the specs sheet so far. And with the stunning 800 x 1280 pixels display resolution, this giant phone even slammed Sammy's latest flagship smartphone – the Samsung GALAXY S II.
But a closer look to what’s inside, the GALAXY Note is not just about the “biggest”. It’s also about being a super phone! With the same Exynos chipset with Sammy's first 2-core smartphone, the GALAXY Note got an impressive 1.4GHz CPU, 1GB RAM, 8MP rear-facing camera, 2MP front-facing camera, and a colossal 2,500mAh battery.
One unique feature of GALAXY Note is it comes with an advanced pen-input technology, called the S Pen, in which according to Sammy “is combined with the GALAXY Note’s full touch screen to introduce a new type of user-experience”. Now I'm thinking this S Pen technology has something to do with this handset’s name. Samsung also said they are enhancing enterprise capabilities of the GALAXY Note through its partnership with Juniper Networks, a company which designs and sells high-performance IP network products and services.
This phone is expected to be out in the market later this year. And while we're waiting more information about that, go check out first the notable specs, feature video, and press release after the break.
