iPhone 5 Release Date in October, Imminent!

Look. When Apple held its most recent Worldwide Developers Conference in June, the company didn’t make any announcement regarding its next iPhone model, thus obviously changing its roadmap as compared to similar events in the last three years.



This created mixed reactions and rumors from different publications since then, citing a number of sources, that Apple will announce iPhone 5 this September instead. But all of these stories leave no stronger evidence that would suggest Apple will indeed introduce and finally launch the phone this month. Apple is very quite and isn’t saying a word.



Not until this week when more and more substantial information start popping out leading us to believe the release of iPhone 5 in October is imminent.



First up is the Best Buy document leaked to BGR, implying for a possible presale of iPhone 5 starting this week, with the phone arriving in the first week next month.

And speaking of iPhone 5 at Best Buy, the folks over at This is my next also got a file in which the retailer will be installing a large Apple display in at least one Best Buy store in the US come October 21st, , presumably for the device’s launch.

And just earlier today, Bloomberg is reporting that Deutsche Telekom AG is already accepting pre-orders of iPhone 5 in anticipation of supply bottlenecks for the device. The German carrier will apparently “hand out coupons to people who expressly request the successor model to the iPhone 4”.



Although these reports are still insufficient for some to believe, at least for now, IMHO – an October release of iPhone 5 is more than just imminent! We can expect Apple to make the announcement anytime this month and finally seeing the device hitting stores afterwards.
