From
unboxing,
first impression, and even to the
OS tour, a 3-week encounter with
Nokia N8 is enough for me to say that
the phone’s main selling point is indeed its imaging capability.
Featuring a stunning 12MP camera with Carl Zeiss Optics technology, Nokia thought of designing the handset with photography enthusiasts in mind. If I’m not mistaken, Nokia N8 is actually the first, if not the lone smartphone available in the market today with highest camera resolution, 12MP that is. Another thing the N8’s camera brings is its capability to record and playback HD videos. That is why I also thought, a sample video and photos would be worth to share for those who haven’t tried the phone just yet.
Below are just among the sample photos (unedited of course!) I took while en route to a vacation last summer, at the San Remigio Beach Club in the northern part of Cebu to be exact. And a sample video is also embedded below taken in a cloudy dawn while sailing along the Mactan channel via fast craft.
