HTC Philippines to Launch Sensation Tomorrow

HTC, the Taiwan-based smartphone maker, is set to launch HTC Sensation here in the Philippines tomorrow.

HTC Sensation
Officially announced back in April, HTC Sensation is a 2-core processor smartphone running Android 2.3 or Gingerbread. HTC Sensation is the third dual-core smartphone we confirmed to land in Philippine soil (next to LG Optimus 2X and Samsung Galaxy S2), but it would be the second phone to have an official release in the country. Sensation will compete with LG Optimus 2X which is already out in the local shelves with a retail price of Php 27,990, as well with Samsung Galaxy S2 which would be available officially later this month.

HTC Sensation
My source from HTC is still yet to confirm the official price of the handset, but being known to have launched high-end smartphones in the past above the Php 30,000 mark, I would guess HTC will launch Sensation on that same price range. That would be a big surprise though if we’ll get it below Php 30K. Surely, we’ll uncover that one tomorrow. So just stay tuned.
