Globe Drops Samsung Galaxy S II Plan to Php 2499!

We got some exciting news here guys.

Last Saturday, CTB reported that Globe Telecom has already been accepting pre-orders of Samsung Galaxy S II. And those who pre-order the unit will have a chance to get the dual-core smartphone for FREE at Plan 2799, instead of the regular Plan 3799 through the telco’s My Super Surf Plan.



And now, here’s the news...



Instead of getting SGS2 free at Plan 2799, Globe will offer the unit FREE at Plan 2499. CTB was able to confirm this after Globe Telecom changed the Samsung Galaxy S II pre-order page.

If you’ll ask why there’s a change, it’s probably because Plan 2799 is not available with Globe’s My Super Surf Plan. It’s just Plan 299, 499, 999, 1799, 2499, 3799, and All-Unli Plan.



Here’s the catch though. Plan 2499 is not bundled with unlimited mobile internet. You’ll only get a combination of 7 freebies which include: 10 minutes calls and 200 SMS to Globe and TM, 5 minutes calls and 25 SMS to other networks, 20 minutes IDD calls and 10 international SMS, 3 hours mobile surfing, and unlimited call and text to only 1 Globe or TM number. That means if you’re the type of user who prefer surfing most of the time – Plan 2499 gives you a total of 21 hours free mobile internet. Beyond that will reflect on your bill.

Someone from Globe Telecom sent this in. Plan 2499 for Samsung Galaxy S II is packed with unlimited mobile internet, plus Php 1500 worth of consumable and 5 freebies of choice. So, that makes pre-ordering the handset even a better deal.



Please note also that all SuperSurf Plans from Globe come with unlimited internet.
