Globe and Smart Subscribers, Donate Japan Earthquake Victims through Red Cross

Haven’t donated yet to the earthquake and tsunami victims in Japan? If you’re a Globe or Smart subscriber, there’s an easy way to do that.

For Globe Subscribers, send your donation to the Red Cross using your mobile phone, just by texting:



JAPAN<space>AMOUNT



And send it to 2899.



Available denominations include: 5, 25, 50, 100, 300, 500, and 1000.

For example, to donate Php 50, just text:



JAPAN 50



And send it to 2899.



You’ll receive a message from Red Cross as a way of expressing gratitude to you for using Globe Donate-a-Load and in supporting the organization’s humanitarian efforts. Globe says transaction is free of charge, which means you’ll only be charged for the donation you make.



For Smart subscribers, just text:



RED<space>AMOUNT



And send it to 4143.



Smart denominations include: 10, 25, 50, 100, 300, 500 or 1000.

For example, to donate Php 25, just key in:



RED 25



And send to 4143.
