ASUS in an announcement today just made the Eee Pad Transformer TF101 tablet official.
The ASUS Eee Pad Transformer is one of the tablet devices unveiled ahead of CES early this year from the Taiwan-based company. Featuring a 10.1-inch IPS (in-plane switching) panel display, powered by a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor; the Transformer is a Honeycomb device that is, well – a unique slate that behaves converting itself into something we’re familiar with: a notebook. With an optional docking station with integrated keyboard, the Transformer let you access functionalities of a full QWERTY set of keys for your typing pleasure. In-house with the Eee Pad Transformer include a 1GB memory, 16GB or 32GB of storage with unlimited access to cloud-based ASUS WebStorage, both front and rear-facing cameras, and the ASUS’ Waveshare UI which melds with Android 3.0 for a unique user interface.
