Globe is now offering another promo dubbed as Powersurf. This is perhaps to compete with Smart’s 1-peso per minute mobile internet. Available in 3 variants, Globe Powersurf allows you to surf the web either for 1 hour, 3 hours, or 5 hours starting at 15-pesos for 1 day to 50-pesos in 3 days. The good thing with this Powersurf promo is, once you registered your mobile number in any of the three variants – you have the option to consume your time in a per-minute basis. That means you have full control when you want to use and consume all the remaining time within the validity period of the Powersurf variant you’ve registered with.
To register:
Text POWERSURF15 to 8888 (for 1 hour, Php 15, valid for 1 day)
Text POWERSURF30 to 8888 (for 3 hours, Php 30, valid for 1 day)
Text POWERSURF50 to 8888 (for 5 hours, Php 50, valid for 3 days)
Note that for you to be able to enjoy the service, you will need an extra prepaid load in your account; that is 1-peso for POWERSURF15, or 5-pesos for POWERSURF30 and POWERSURF50.
