Greenpois0n iOS 4.2.1 Untethered Jailbreak by Chronic-Dev Team, Coming Soon

While the iPhone Dev Team is still on its beta testing for Redsn0w 0.9.7, which is capable of jailbreaking iOS 4.2.1 untethered – the Chronic Dev Team is back into the game with an updated version of its popular jailbreaking tool, Greenpois0n, which initially uses the Limera1n exploit discovered by Geohot to jailbreak iOS 4.1 untethered.



The new updated version of Greenpois0n is capable of jailbreaking iOS 4.2.1 untethered, but unlike Redsn0w – it won’t require users to have the iOS 4.2 beta 3 SHSH blobs saved. The video below is a demo of an iPhone 4 running a jailbroken iOS 4.2.1 untethered.







The Chronic Dev Team didn’t provide ETA as to when this untethered jailbreak will be released, but surely we’ll let you know once this good news for jailbreakers progresses. Stay tuned!
