Apple iPad Arrives at iStore Cebu

The Apple iPad was officially released in the Philippines last week, December 17th. Surprisingly, one authorized Apple reseller here in Cebu also has the units available on the same day.

I personally confirmed this when I visited the iStore at SM Cyberzone yesterday (Oh yeah, I bought another accessory for my new toy). I’m not surprised with the pricing though ‘coz I’d expected it to be a bit a higher as compared to the official SRP posted at Apple Philippines website. Without any further ado, you may refer to the price schedule below.

As you can see, the prices are a bit higher from Php 500 to Php 900 versus the SRP from here. But if you will ask me, I think that is just fair considering that you will get the unit immediately upon purchase and you can also avail other services as well as warranty claims in a few minutes’ drive to the Cyberzone.
