The Man Without a Facebook [Video]

Got this video through Facebook which continues to go viral; it’s a parody spoofing Mel Gibson’s 1993 drama film The Man Without a Face.

The Man Without a Facebook is actually a tale of an introverted man who just hangs out with people face to face and trying to learn things without the help of, well…Google. Looks like this is going to be the movie of today’s generation, telling everyone how’s life sans social networks.

Check this out! [Thanks, Landoy!]

The Dark Night Rises First Official Trailer Hit the Web, Watch This!

Batman Begins, done. The Dark Night, done. The Dark Night Rises, nope, not yet.

But one year from now, we’ll have the final installment of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy.

Scheduled for release by July 20 next year, The Dark Night Rises will complete Nolan’s trilogy and unlike the first two films in the series – the final movie will feature more scenes shot in IMAX format. It’s also in this movie that we’ll see the characters of Catwoman starring Anne Hathaway, and the powerful juggernaut Bane starring Tom Hardy. And though Catwoman didn’t appear on the first official trailer released, at least Bane made an appearance around 1:28 to 1:30 of the trailer below. And oh, just in case you’re not familiar with the name, Bane is actually the more physically and intellectually powerful antagonist who broke the bat’s back.

I really can’t help but share this video to you folks and I bet this wouldn’t be the last teaser of the movie, so expect more in the future. Sorry but I’m a fan of Batman story since childhood and if I may, just set back and spend less than 2 minutes watching the video after the break.

Nokia X7 Philippines Price and Availability Update, Scores Cameo in Transformers 3

This serves as an update for those who have been waiting for the arrival of Nokia X7 here in the Philippines.

Nokia X7
The entertainment-centric Nokia X7 was announced back in April, and it’s already available locally with a suggested retail price of Php 21,275. I personally saw the handset being displayed at Nokia stores in SM Cyberzone, and I’m sure it’s also available in Ayala Center Cebu as well in other gadget stores in the city.

Interestingly, Nokia did score once again a cameo of Nokia X7. The X7, together with other latest Nokia handsets, appear several times in the third installment of the fictional movie, Transformers. Although one couldn’t easily identify the models of the phones in the movie.

The threequel, Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon, features Nokia Ovi Maps in 3D on Nokia X7 running Symbian Anna. I’ve seen the movie at SM IMAX last night and it reminded me when Nokia also showed off Nokia N8 in Tron Legacy. Transformers 3 is a great movie, folks. I recommend you to watch it.

Watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 (Trailer 2)

I don’t want to miss the final movie installment, really; even every trailer that hit online.

Warner Bros. has already posted the second, and probably the last trailer of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2. This is going to be the first movie in the Harry Potter film series to be screened in 3D and IMAX formats. It will be released worldwide this coming July 15th, following its world premiere on July 7th at Trafalgar Square in London.

Surely the movie will hit at the 3D Theater in Ayala Center Cebu as well at the IMAX Theater in SM, so those of you guys, my dear Cebuano readers, who have been waiting for eight months since Part 1 shouldn’t miss the trailer of what could be a climactic showdown between the good and evil forces. Excited? Hit the video after the break.

So, who do you think could live forever? Could there be a big shift of the story? Let’s find out, soon!

'I Love You' Virus Movie, Premieres this April

Yes, that’s true. The computer virus that hit the headlines back in 2000 will make its way to the big screens as an action-packed romantic drama.

Starring Jericho Rosales, SUBJECT: I LOVE YOU will premiere at the Newport Beach Film Festival this April 30th.

The synopsis goes:

Subject: I Love You is an action-packed romantic drama, based on the destructive 'I Love You' computer virus, which spread around the globe at the turn of the millennium, shutting down computer systems at the Pentagon, Parliament and the CIA. Combining romance, drama, action and international intrigue, Subject: I Love You is ultimately the story of a young man, Victor, who will do anything to reconnect with the only woman he's ever loved - even if that means entangling himself in an international criminal investigation.
Once obtained a world record as the most virulent computer worm in Windows machines, the I LOVE YOU virus or "Love Bug" was created by a Filipino hacker from AMA Computer University back in May 4, 2000. The virus caused billions of dollars in total damage; however, the person behind it lives with no criminal record. Well, he’s lucky enough the country's e-Commerce law has not been enacted before the incident.

Back to the movie, Subject: I Love You also stars the Philippine renowned recording artist Gary Valenciano, together with other popular international artists as seen on the official trailer below.

No confirmation yet when the movie will hit local theaters, but I wish it premieres in the country comes May. So, you’re going to watch it?
