Smart Communications is still on its track to making its Smart Bro Rocket Plug-It a success, but that doesn’t stop the telco for teasing us as early as today what could be another “Rocket” product under its sleeve.
Smart Communications will soon introduce Smart Rocket WiFi Plus, which is said to “take speeds of up to 20 Mbps anywhere you go”. Though the telco didn’t give more specific details about this product, I’m actually thinking it’s a sort of an upgrade to its Smart Bro Pocket WiFi, or an upgraded Smart Bro Rocket Plug-It with added capability of sharing internet connection through Wi-Fi.
Whatever it is, of course only Smart can tell; however, that doesn’t stop us from thinking a 20Mbps mobile internet will be available in the Philippine soil, very, very soon. Of course we’ll keep you posted once this gets official, so just stay tuned for updates!
