For Sony, it’s probably better late than never. Or are they?
With so many tablet devices announced this year, Sony just made an official announcement in Tokyo, Japan today that they are also developing their own tablet devices.
Codenamed
S1 and
S2, these
Sony Tablets will run on Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) and will come in different target markets. S1 which will flaunt a 9.4-inch display is said to be optimized for rich media entertainment, while S2 is for both mobile communication and entertainment. The latter’s design features two 5.5-inch display that can be folded making it more portable. It actually reminds me of its smartphone look-a-like in the name of
Kyocera Echo.
